9 hours transit and how it doesn't get boring

so, my connecting flight to buenos aires got canceled and suddenly i was stuck in sao paulo. nine hours ahead of me and i was mentally already in buenos aires. not a good combination. you can get really creative how to kill nine hours in transit without spending money:

take extensive walks between terminal 1 and 2.

refresh and try every beauty product in the duty free shop. and let the gay salesman explain you all the different eye shadows and how they highlight your eyes - in portuguese.

take off your shoes and chill cross-legged at the korean check-in counter and realize that EVERY other asian is doing it the same way...

go to every TAM airline counter to find someone, who speaks english and help you to get a flight earlier. doesn't work, but at least i got vouchers for food (not good) and drinks (some kind of delicous schweppes version).

take the challenge to find a bench that doesn't have those separating thingies between each seats. i saw two and they were always taken. but here's the secret: check downstairs at gate 4B, that's the place!!

try to grasp portuguese.

DON'T count the hours.

i arrived safely, have so many now impressions of people, landscape and how to deal with things and am generally just overwhelmed. picture will follow soon :)
