A disatrous fire in Valparaíso started in Valparaíso when we were walking through the city. Ash started raining and the smell of burnt wood was omnipresent. We actually stayed in in Viña del Mar close to the city and when we returned the sunset and the fire mixed to this surreal view. To think that this fire was one of the biggest disasters in Valparaíso and we saw only the beauty in it makes me sad, but what could we have done?
Now we are safe in Nothern Chile in the middle of the desert. So dehydrated, but even more beautiful nature around...
